Thursday Runs at Niketown

Every Thursday my friends participate in the Run Club at Niketown. They meet up at 6:30 and run around Beverly Hills for about an hour. You don't really have to stay with the group, it seems as though everyone just runs at their own pace. Totally no pressure and a good way to make exercise a weekly routine.

Yellow House Cafe

This place is one of my favorite little cafes in Koreatown. The outside patio looks like an adorable secret garden. Twinkling lights and little heaters are all around. They have a lot of seating making it a great place for larger parties. They offer hot foods, desserts and a large selection of coffees, teas and smoothies. They also have s'mores! Check out their website for a 50% no restrictions coupon.

Library Wedding

I love discovering new places around LA. I have never been to this library before until our friends had their wedding here. It's a really nice building and metal exterior reminds me of the Walt Disney Concert Hall. I had to add a picture of their cake. They are both in the game industry and big time game enthusiasts. Cute huh?

Downtown at night is such a different place than it is during the day. There are some sketchy parts, but there is also beautiful architecture, history and glamor that we sometimes overlook during business hours. We don't walk in LA, but it was nice to do so for a change!

Lunch - Culver City

Lunch special: 1/2 sandwich + 1/2 salad, $8

Fresh, healthy, affordable. I'm the opposite of most people in that I can't stand large portions. I like portions that are just right!

Center for Yoga

There is something so nice about the stillness right before a yoga class. This is a great studio with really amazing teachers. They often have promotions for new students. They also have studios all over LA.

Grilled Cheese Truck

Top picture: Plain and Simple - American Cheese $3
Second picture: Cheesy Mac and Rib with BBQ pork and caramelized onions $7.50

Verdict: Pretty good. Not spectacular, but decent. I would eat it again.
